– FREE February Class for ASDC Members –

Monday, February 13 | 8 pm ET | Register Today!

While deaf people are bilinguals, they read and write in English.  Since ASL is a three dimensional language in constant motion,  it is not easy to translate into a written system. Additionally, ASL grammar is conveyed mostly through non-manual signals.  These challenges mean glossing is used only as a tool to transcribe and analyze.  It is also very effective in improving one’s signing.

This workshop give you a basic understanding of using G-L-O-S-S.  JOIN-US WILL FUN!

WHEN: Monday, February 13
TIME: 8:00 – 9:30 PM (Eastern time)
WITH: Edna Johnston via Zoom
COST: $25 | FREE for ASDC Members

* FREE for ASDC members! Email Cheri for your discount code prior to registration.

Each month, ASDC members receive access to a FREE class that supports and enhances their ASL Learning experiences and helps them improve their ASL skills.

Since 1967, ASDC has been supporting parents of children who are deaf and hard of hearing. We believe that deafness is not a disability, but language deprivation is. That’s why it’s our mission to ensure that every deaf child can learn sign language from the very start.

Not only is learning a second language good for your brain, it’s also a great way to expand your communication skills. This is especially true for American Sign Language, which is the fifth most-used language in the U.S.

At ASDC, we bring families together through American Sign Language and we are here to support you.

Being a member of ASDC means that you are a part of an amazing team of parents and professionals dedicated to giving deaf children the resources they need to learn, thrive, and succeed.

Get your free ASL Class each month, as well as your members only discounts for our online classes, in-person events and conferences, and special member events.  Join us.

Family/Individual memberships are $35/per year.
