#GiveASL | Season of Giving

The holiday season is a time when many of us think about how we can give something back. Today, we’re kicking off our #GiveASL Season of Giving campaign with a look back on the legacy and love of Diana Hernandez-McCaffery.

To honor her amazing legacy and love of language and ASL, Diana’s family has established the Diana Hernandez-McCaffery Scholarship Fund to support more parents in their ability to communicate with their deaf children.

It is their hope that this scholarship gives parents support and access to resources that help them communicate with their children, encourage their families to learn ASL, and to help make them feel more comfortable and confident in doing so through ASDC’s ASL Weekend and Annual Family Conference.

This year, GivingTuesday is November 29th. As you begin planning your holiday charitable giving, please consider supporting ASDC and #GiveASL. Learn more about Diana, as well as the programs and resources provided by ASDC by visiting us at www.deafchildren.org/donate.

We make a life by what we give. Here’s to the joy of giving, and a season that’s as beautiful as it is meaningful.

Thank you for your continued support. Here’s to a bright beginning to your holiday season for you and your family.
