The American Society for Deaf Children  is seeking three dedicated volunteer Board Members to help us champion language access and family support for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children. We’re especially looking for individuals who bring unique backgrounds and skills to enrich our mission.

Who We’re Looking For
Our mission benefits from diverse voices, and we’re particularly excited to welcome applicants who are Dads, Deaf individuals, Latino community members, teachers, and administrators. Your perspective and skills could help ASDC reach new heights, whether through your lived experience, cultural insights, or professional expertise.

What Does Serving on the ASDC Board Involve?
Board Members serve two-year terms, working closely with the Executive Director to shape ASDC’s programs, partnerships, and policies. Monthly virtual meetings and two annual in-person gatherings ensure meaningful engagement with our mission and community.

Ready to Apply?
Applications are open until midnight EST on November 8, 2024. If you’re ready to bring your unique skills and background to ASDC’s Board, apply today and join us in creating a more inclusive, language-accessible world for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children and their families.
